Processing Maintenance Technician
Location: Woodburn, OR
Compensation: $18–$26 per hour, Depending on Experience
Schedule: Full-Time 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Rotating Schedule: 5 Days On / 2 Days Off
About the Role
We are seeking a Processing Maintenance Technician responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of production and support equipment, including egg-laying equipment, forklifts, skid steers, front loaders, dump trucks, pressure washers, air compressors, generators, and more. This role ensures smooth, safe, and efficient operations within the facility through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on production and related equipment by following diagrams, manuals, and troubleshooting guidelines

Maintain accurate maintenance records and meet regulatory requirements (e.g., PM schedules, sanitation logs, scale calibration)

Troubleshoot mechanical issues by inspecting equipment and using precision measurement tools

Inspect, maintain, and order necessary parts, equipment, and supplies

Load/unload, repair, and maintain equipment and tools as needed

Support production team with immediate maintenance needs

Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors

Cross-train in multiple areas and assist across departments when needed

Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with regulations
Key Expectations
-
Review and prioritize daily work orders with the maintenance supervisor

Complete all preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled before end of shift
-
Be flexible and willing to assist in multiple areas of the plant as necessary
Qualifications
-
2+ years experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility (food or beverage industry preferred)
-
1+ year experience in at least one of the following:
-
Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electronic systems
-
Computer-controlled equipment, PLC, and HVAC
-
Lubrication, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control, and packaging equipment
-
Professional experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred
-
Must have a valid Driver’s License
-
Ability to work safely around energy, electricity, moving machinery, slippery floors, cleaning chemicals, fumes, and odors
-
Able to lift and carry heavy machinery
