Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Location: Salem, OR
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
Position Overview
A local company in Salem is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join their day shift team. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing materials, supporting both warehouse operations and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments

Prepare and package outgoing orders accurately and efficiently

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely

Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation

Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies

Assist with general warehouse organization and cleanliness
Requirements
-
Previous Shipping/Receiving experience required

Demonstrated recent longevity with past employers
-
Two professional references required

Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification a plus)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
