Pay: $26–$28+ DOE (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time
Overtime: Significant overtime opportunities during summer months
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join a growing team in Salem, OR. This is a full-time opportunity with strong earning potential, especially during the busy summer season when overtime is abundant.
If you have experience operating excavators, front loaders, and working around asphalt plants, this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities
• Operate excavators and front-end loaders safely and efficiently
• Work in and around asphalt plant operations
• Perform excavation, grading, loading, and material handling
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Follow all safety regulations and job site procedures
• Support crew members to ensure projects stay on schedule
Requirements
• Proven heavy equipment operating experience
• Experience with excavators and front loaders required
• Asphalt plant experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Strong safety awareness and reliability
• Ability to work long hours and overtime during peak season
