Now Recruiting: Experienced Food Production Associates
Location: Salem, OR (Multiple Locations)
Pay: $15.50/hour
Schedule: 6am start times | 12-hour shifts (overtime available)
Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for experienced Food Production Associates to support multiple facilities in the Salem area.
These positions are ideal for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and have prior experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing or production environment.
Work Environment:
- Cold environment (refrigerated and freezer conditions)
- Must be comfortable working in low temperatures for extended periods
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production line equipment and assist with food processing
- Package, label, and prepare products for shipment
- Follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Perform quality checks to ensure product standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Work efficiently in a team setting to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Previous food production or manufacturing experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Food Production Requirements:
- Must follow strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- No jewelry allowed on the production floor (including rings, watches, necklaces, or bracelets)
- All piercings must be removed before entering production areas
- Must adhere to hygiene standards, including hair restraints and proper PPE
