Case Manager (OPI Focused)
Location: Salem, OR
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $28.15/hour
Assignment Length: 2–3 months (Temporary)
About the Role
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Case Manager for a short-term assignment focused on Oregon Project Independence (OPI). This role will primarily involve phone-based case management, supporting consumers through service planning and coordination.
This is a great opportunity for experienced individuals in social services who are comfortable working independently, managing client communication, and completing detailed documentation tied to program funding.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct phone-based outreach and communication with consumers
- Develop and complete service plans (PLANs) based on individual needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all client interactions
- Ensure compliance with program guidelines and funding requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to support client services
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of combined education and/or relevant experience in social services or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related field preferred (experience may substitute)
- Experience working directly with consumers in a social service setting strongly preferred
- Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must pass a basic criminal history check
- Valid Oregon driver’s license or reliable transportation required
