Customer Service (Accounts Payable Training Opportunity)
Location: Brooks, OR
PAY: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm with possible overtime. Overtime if needed, would be 5:00am-2:30pm/3:30pm.
Position Summary:
We are hiring a Customer Service professional for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is heavily focused on customer service, order support, and communication with customers and internal teams. Accounts Payable training will be provided for the right candidate.
This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage high-volume interactions, and the ability to remain professional and composed in challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle high-volume customer service calls and email communication
- Provide order status updates, scheduling information, and general customer support
- Enter and track purchase orders and job-related data
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding production timelines and updates
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data entry
- Assist with accounts payable tasks (training provided)
- Resolve customer issues in a professional and efficient manner
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong customer service experience required
- Resilient and able to handle high-pressure communication, with the ability to work through conflict and problem resolution professionally
- Office or administrative experience preferred
- Willingness to learn accounts payable processes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to work full-time with overtime as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting and computer work for extended periods
- Occasional light lifting up to 25 lbs
- Office environment with standard noise levels
