EMS Driver
Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Salem Area
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an EMS Driver for a growing local company. This is a cross-functional role that combines delivery driving, warehouse support, inventory control, and production assistance in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities and schedules may fluctuate during peak and non-peak periods, making flexibility and a positive attitude essential for success.
Responsibilities
- Pull, stage, and verify materials for deliveries and production needs
- Perform project preparation work as directed by supervisors
- Assist with production and project preparation prior to delivery
- Make deliveries throughout the Willamette Valley
- Work closely with supervisors, facility management, and sales staff to meet deadlines and production goals
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Support quality control efforts and communicate any quality concerns to management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist in warehouse and production operations as needed
Qualifications
- Good driving record required
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office products
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, workloads, and schedules
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Forklift experience in a warehouse environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, move, and carry materials up to 40 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive pushing, pulling, reaching, and grabbing motions
- Ability to stand, bend, and remain active for extended periods
- Ability to work overtime as needed
