Forklift Driver
Location: Brooks, OR
Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Pay: $19.73 per hour
Job Overview
Express Employment Professionals is hiring Seasonal/On-Call Forklift Drivers to support a busy manufacturing facility during its peak production season. This day shift position is ideal for experienced forklift operators looking for flexible, on-call work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials
- Transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Stage materials for production and warehouse operations
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Maintain accurate inventory records using barcode scanners and computer systems
- Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as needed
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all forklift and workplace safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience is required
- Must successfully pass the company's forklift certification process
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment
- Basic computer and inventory tracking skills
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work on-call during the busy season
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Comfortable working around moving equipment and in refrigerated environments
