Job Full Description
A client of ours in Tualatin is looking to add an SMT Operator to their team. The ideal candidate for this position would have 1 year of related experience.
This is an evaluation of a full-time hire position.

Duties:
- Operate a MyData (Mycronic) or Yamaha pick-and-place machine
- Be able to hand-place SMT components.
- Set up feeders for the pick & place machine.\
- Tear down feeders when jobs are complete and return components to the original packaging and job kit.
- Component identification
- Communicate all material shortages affecting assemblies to receiving and/or production.
- Maintains general cleanliness of the work area.
- Support and assist other assembly departments when needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs):
- HS Diploma/GED
- 1 year of related experience
- Excellent manual dexterity and vision
- Must be able to identify component types
- Able to stand and walk for eight hours in a workday
- Able to frequently lift 25-40 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive, detailed work using a microscope and small hand tools
- Ability to read and understand documentation in English to assemble and solder PCBAs
- Basic computer and math skills
Pay: $18 - $24 DOE
Schedule(s): Monday- Friday, 6 am-2:30 pm
