Job Full Description
One of our long-standing clients in Tualatin is currently on the lookout for an experienced Quality Control Inspector, with a minimum of two years of QC circuit board experience. Proficiency in rework and soldering of both SMT and through-hole components under a microscope is a prerequisite.
This is an evaluation of a full-time hire position!
Duties:
- Perform first/final inspection on parts and boards
- Soldering, through hole: IPC 610 and J-STF-001 Class 3
- Clean circuit board assemblies
- Complete rework duties
- Operate the x-ray machine
- Record all data from quality checks
- Identify quality defects and correct the process
- Maintain quality standards in all aspects of work
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- 2+ years of experience working in a QC role with printed circuit boards
- 2+ years’ experience with SMT soldering (through hole) and rework
- Ability to identify component types
- Able to perform detailed and repetitive work
- Ability to use a microscope and basic small hand tools
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to read and understand work orders and documentation
- Good manual dexterity
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift to 20lbs
- Good organization and attention to detail
- HS Diploma or GED
- Preferred qualifications: IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified
Pay: $20-$22/hr. DOE
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2 PM - 10:30 PM - Has flexibility with start time.
Monday-Friday 2 pm-10:30 pm
