Job Full Description
A client of ours in Tualatin is looking to add a Welder/Fabricator to their team. The ideal candidate will already have experience in TIG Welding, Deburring and familiar with applying silicon to joints. They require proven work history and an updated resume.
This is an evaluation to hire position.
Duties:
- Weld cleanup and repair
- Acid wash and grind joints, welds, and corner smooth
- Silicone joints and seals as required for the finished product.
- Install hardware and panel doors.
- Perform station quality verification.
- Follow all safety and housekeeping rules.
- Follow company policies.
- Willing to assist in other areas as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs):
- HS Diploma/GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Basic TIG welding, grinding, and finishing (polishing) skills, and silicon joints REQUIRED.
- Working knowledge of the following tools: Electric, grinding, and Air Tools
- Proficiently read and use a tape measure.
- Read/interpret prints, diagrams, and drawings, REQUIRED.
- Must be a team player, including good interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Pay: $20 - $24+/hr. DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5 am-3:30 pm, (every attempt will be made to end work early on Friday)
