Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating press brake machinery to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal components used in our HVAC systems. This is a hands-on position requiring technical expertise, precision, and a commitment to quality. #1939ST

Schedule: Friday-Sunday 6 AM-6:30 PM

Pay: $25-$29/hr. DOE

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate press brake machines to perform bending and forming operations using standard and custom tooling.
  • Interpret blueprints and process control instructions to set up and adjust ram and back gauge locations.
  • Perform complex programming and setup using all features of the press brake.
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Work with tight tolerances and maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Produce parts for downstream assembly operations, ensuring they meet customer specifications and delivery timelines.
  • Conduct spot inspections and complete required documentation and production records.
  • Identify and label parts accurately for assembly and inventory purposes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control procedures.
  • Capable of lifting 25 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
