A client of ours in Wilsonville is seeking a Computer Repair Technician to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for hardware repair and a strong technical foundation. You will work hands-on with computer components, ensuring systems are restored to optimal condition. The position requires precision, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. #1939ST

Duties:
Technical Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Hardware repair and replacement: Diagnose and fix issues by swapping out or repairing parts such as hard drives, RAM, motherboards, graphics cards, and power supplies.
- Physical assembly: Reassemble computers after a repair or replacement and ensure all connections are secure.
- Installation: Install hardware like printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools to identify the root cause of hardware malfunctions.
- Routine maintenance: Perform physical maintenance on computers and equipment to ensure they run smoothly.
- Data recovery: Assist users with recovering data following hardware failures.
Experience with the following tasks with little or no instruction or supervision:
- Identify upgrade options by examining physical hardware components.
- Verify hardware components and disk partitions using command-line tools.
- Reassemble units to a like-new condition, ensuring proper functionality and appearance.
- Strong understanding of PC hardware architecture and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently with precision and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with command prompts for hardware verification tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Mandatory: 1–3 years of hands-on computer hardware experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in both team and independent environments.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics is mandatory.
- Chinese language proficiency preferred but not mandatory.
- Self-starter with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
Pay: $19.00/hr.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
