CNC Machine Operator
Friday to Sunday from 6am - 6pm
Tualatin, OR

Summary:
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating 3‑axis and 5‑axis computer‑controlled milling and punching machines to produce aluminum ceiling grid components for air units. This role requires hands‑on machine operation, consistent loading and unloading of materials, and maintaining high accuracy in measurements and part quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling and punching machines (3‑ and 5‑axis) to produce aluminum parts.
• Load aluminum extrusions onto FOM CNC machines and offload completed parts after milling, bending, and adjustments.
• Perform repetitive machine loading, unloading, and part handling throughout the shift.
• Use calipers and basic measuring tools; read and interpret measurements accurately.
• Monitor machine performance, make basic adjustments, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and support training of new operators when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC milling machines, including 3‑ and 5‑axis systems.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or machine‑operation environment.
• Basic computer knowledge is helpful.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new processes.
• Reliable, accountable, team‑oriented, and willing to learn new skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs occasionally (never above chest height; partner lifts required over 50 lbs).
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for a 10‑hour shift.
• Repetitive loading and unloading of materials throughout the workday.
