A client of ours in Wilsonville is looking to add a Computer Repair Technician to their team. This opportunity is perfect for self-starters and those looking to grow their career in computer repair and electronics.
This is an Evaluation-to-hire role.
Technical Responsibilities and Requirements:
Hardware:
• Upgrade units for customized orders with strong attention to cleanliness, accuracy, and care of product
• Troubleshoot and diagnose desktop, laptop, and all in one computers, along with other electronics
• Self starter who uses available resources to identify solutions to hardware and software issues
Experience with the following tasks with little or no instruction or supervision:
• Disassemble and inspect laptop computers (desktop knowledge assumed)
• Identify upgrade options by reviewing physical hardware
• Verify components and partitions using command prompt
• Re assemble units to a like new state
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• HS Diploma or GED required
• 1 to 3 years of computer hardware experience
• Ability to follow instructions while working independently or as part of a team
• Strong understanding of basic mathematics
• Chinese language is preferred but not required
• Self starter who takes initiative and maintains a professional work ethic
Pay: 19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
