Tualatin company is looking for a Shipping Associate. The ideal candidate will have a high level of customer service by performing shipping activities; preparing items for shipment and keeping records for the corporate office ensuring the customer receives the correct products in a timely manner.
General Position Summary

- Full-time, 40 hours per week with overtime as needed
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Pay: $20.50/hr + DOE
Essential Responsibilities
- Stock and properly maintain parts
- Pull products based on bin locations listed on picking paperwork
- Verify accuracy of part numbers and quantities
- Package items appropriately for UPS/FedEx/Freight, including international shipments
- Follow customer- or shipment-specific instructions to meet expectations
- Complete all necessary paperwork for each transaction
- Coordinate with carrier personnel as needed
- Operate the stretch-wrap bander
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Perform computer functions required to track goods
- Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow prescribed safety regulations
- Operate a forklift, powered pallet jack, and hand trucks to move materials
- Assist Receiving and Final Assembly departments as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma and one year of factory-related shipping/receiving experience preferred
- Ability to read/write English, follow verbal instructions, and perform basic math
- Prefer experience in a small distribution environment (non-automated picking/packing)
- Computer-savvy with UPS/FedEx shipping programs and basic Microsoft Office/data entry
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Ability to lift/maneuver 30–50 lbs., occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Must be active throughout the day: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing

Additional Responsibilities
- Arrange carrier pickups based on customer purchase order instructions
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
- Maintain an adequate supply of shipping materials at all times
- Receive incoming products daily
- Inspect and verify part numbers and quantities against purchase orders
- Review items for damage and take appropriate action
- Accurately place products into correct bin locations
- Receive product in the computer system to maintain accurate inventory
- Prepare customer returns for shipment
- File purchase orders, customer orders, and quotes prior to daily UPS arrival
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
- Unload all incoming goods and route paperwork appropriately
- Verify items and quantities received; document damaged or defective items
- Coordinate outside subcontract processes for company-produced products, including setting vendor priorities and arranging pickups via vendor, courier, or freight
- Reconcile produced quantities, vendor returns, and required certifications
- Operate cranes, hoists, or power trucks as needed
- Move materials from receiving to appropriate departments, individuals, or storage locations following routing procedures
- Ensure all parts are presentable and properly identified (e.g., cleaned, engraved with part numbers) before placing into stock
