A client of ours in Tualatin is looking for a NON-CDL Box Truck Driver to join their day shift. This company specializing in shipping and third-party logistics needs a team player with great customer service. This is an evaluation to full-time hire position!
Duties:
- Assist with loading the box truck via a pallet jack, this is a manual PJ and you will need to be able to push/pull up to 500lbs.
- Once truck is loaded, strap down all contents to ensure a secure transport.
- Verify the truck contains the proper items for transport.
- Operate 24ft. a box truck safely and abide by all rules of the road.
- Unload truck at client site, if any product is over 500lbs, you are to notify customer and they are to have their team support with forklifts or electrical material handling equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- 1-3 years of delivery driving experience (24 ft. box truck)
- Clean driving record
- Must pass drug screen.
- Must meet background hiring requirements.
- Someone with great customer service
- Someone who can work independently
- Work with deadlines and ensure positive communication with all customers.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Pay: $22/hr.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 AM-3:30 PM
