Material Handler / Helper
Express Employment Professionals Tualatin, OR Pay: $23.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler / Helper for a growing client of ours in Tualatin, Oregon. This position works closely with machine operators to ensure materials are properly staged, processed, packaged, and prepared for shipment.
This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, operating forklifts, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Use forklifts and side loaders to retrieve and stage materials for processing.
- Assist machine operators by moving and organizing materials throughout the production area.
- Stack and move metal parts by hand (up to 50 lbs.).
- Use micrometers and measuring tapes to verify part dimensions and specifications.
- Build pallets and crates for outgoing shipments.
- Package completed orders according to customer requirements.
- Use forklifts and side loaders to stage completed orders for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and standards.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required, will train on Side Loader
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and measuring tapes is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
