Production Pallet Builder
Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our production team building custom pallets, crates, and shipping containers in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This hands-on role involves working with wood materials, power tools, production documents, and assembly processes to create high-quality shipping products.
Essential Duties
- Determine job requirements based on work orders and production specifications.
- Review route sheets for completeness and accuracy.
- Locate, pull, and prepare materials required for production.
- Measure and cut materials to required dimensions.
- Assemble pallets, crates, and shipping containers according to specifications and bill of materials (BOM).
- Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and report material shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional production and warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using hand and power tools such as tape measures, staple guns, nail guns, glue dispensers, pallet jacks, and forklifts is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work orders and production instructions.
- Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience are preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, twisting, crouching, and kneeling throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
