Job Details

• Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm with possible OT before or after your shift and on weekends. Must have reliable transportation, as this position requires opening and closing two different company facilities in Allentown each shift. 

Responsibilities 

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance; inspecting buildings, equipment and access points; permitting entry
• Provide help with alarms, prevent diversion of material, detect unauthorized entry or individuals, detect emergencies, prevent loss and or infractions of rules
• Complete reports of daily activities and irregularities by recording patrols, observations, information, occurrences, events and surveillance activities in the Daily Log
• Report safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Patrol on foot buildings and perimeters randomly and regularly
• Monitor closed circuit security systems and alarms
• Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
• Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions
• Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges
