Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our warehouse team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and handling of materials throughout our facility. We are looking to cross-train candidates in a multitude of departments including shipping/receiving, picking/packing, fulfillment, and pallet building.
This is a 2nd shift opportunity Monday - Friday, from 3:30pm - 12:00am (midnight).
****Voluntary OVERTIME up to 60+ hours per week****
Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment based on work orders or customer requests
- Unloading deliveries, verifying contents, and logging items into inventory systems
- Placing items in designated storage areas and maintaining proper stock levels.
- Inspecting items for damage or defects and reporting discrepancies
- Labeling packages, loading trucks, and ensuring timely dispatch of goods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution or materials handling is preferred.
- Be able to lift 30lbs continuously throughout shift
- Ability to learn warehouse management system
- Be comfortable on your feet for up to 8 hours per day
