Job Full Description
Our Reading area client is seeking a Lead Carpenter to join their team! You’ll handle Reconstruction, Restoration, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures in residential or commercial properties damaged by fire, water, wind and other disasters.
Location: Reading, PA
Pay : $24.00-$28.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: [Full-time 7 AM - 4PM]
- Monday to Friday
- On call (1 week per month)
Responsibilities for the Carpenter
- Read and follow blueprints and technical drawings.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and hardware.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Follow building codes and safety standards.
Requirements of the Carpenter
- 3+ years of carpentry experience.
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License
- Must pass a Pre-Employment physical
- Skilled with tools and construction methods.
- Ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
