Job Full Description
We are seeking an experienced Amada & Eagle Laser Programmer to join our growing manufacturing team. The Laser Programmer will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and troubleshooting laser cutting programs to support production goals. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with engineering and production staff to deliver high-quality parts on schedule.
Amada & Eagle Laser Programmer
Pay: $21–$25/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Full-time, 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Reading, PA
Responsibilities:

Program Amada and Eagle laser cutting machines for a wide range of sheet metal parts.

Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine accurate cutting paths and setups.

Optimize nesting layouts to reduce material waste and increase efficiency.

Troubleshoot and adjust programs to ensure part quality and machine performance.

Collaborate with operators, engineers, and production staff to meet deadlines.

Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

Maintain organized records of all programs and revisions.
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience programming Amada and/or Eagle laser cutting machines.

Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and laser programming tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols.

Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and materials (steel, stainless, aluminum).

Strong problem-solving and technical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
