Are you an organized and communicative professional with a passion for building relationships? Our client in the Wyomissing area is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Customer Service and Bid coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to use your customer service skills while taking on key project responsibilities in the commercial construction industry.
Bid Coordinator
Pay: $21-$24/hour depending on experience
Benefits: Holiday and Vacation Pay, 401(k), and more!
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Location: Wyomissing, PA
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service and Bid coordinator
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer quote and order requests received via phone and email.
- Contact subcontractors to gather pricing information and submit information to bids
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial subcontractors and suppliers.
- Solicit bids and pricing from subcontractors for a variety of commercial construction projects.
- Grow the subcontractor base by networking and making continuous phone calls to industry professionals.
Qualifications of the Customer Service and Bid coordinator
- 2-5+ years of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong creative problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with the Microsoft Suite required
