Our Reading area client is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team! Express is offering career opportunities for those qualified for and interested in this position!
Quality Inspector
Pay: $17/hr

Shift: 2nd Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm (must be able to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm)
Location: Reading, PA
Responsibilities:

Inspect products on the line and in cartons to ensure quality compliance

Perform hourly machine checks and daily quality audits

Document inspection results and report quality issues or corrective actions

Verify work orders, materials, and quality requirements at job start-up

Conduct testing, surface resistivity checks, and quality retains as required

Monitor scrap levels and report excessive scrap immediately

Perform rework/repack of returned product
-
Accurately record start, stop, downtime, and scrap information
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of steady experience in quality inspection or manufacturing

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Ability to read work orders, specifications, and basic blueprints

Good communication and teamwork skills
