Our Sinking Spring area client is seeking an Estimating Assistant to join their team! Express is offering career opportunities for those qualified for and interested in this position!
Estimating Assistant
Pay:
Benefits: Holiday and Vacation Pay, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401(k), and more!
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM-500 PM
Location: Sinking Spring, PA
Responsibilities of the Estimating Assistant:
- Generate reports for the estimator(s) on a timely basis based upon the bid
schedule
- Take calls from Contractors, Commercial and Residential customers to meet
with clients and take field measurements and develop a scope of work for
projects that do not have plans and specifications
- Deliver public bids and attend bid openings, reporting back results
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Estimating Assistant:
- Able to adequately read and interpret civil and structural plans
- Previous experience as an estimating assistant in the construction field
- Welding or fabrication experience
- Experience with estimating
- Valid driver's license required
