Job Full Description
Express is seeking Press Operators for a company in Hermitage, PA!
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate stamping presses, including installing and aligning dies
- Load and feed steel coils using a forklift or overhead crane
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Troubleshoot equipment and die issues and communicate concerns to the Die Shop
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain accurate production records
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Die setting/press experience preferred
- Forklift and overhead crane experience a plus
- Basic computer skills and ability to work independently
- PLC and lean manufacturing experience a plus
Pay:
- $15-17.00/hr. based on experience
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 6:00 AM–2:00 PM with slight flexibility
