Job Title: Accounting & HR Coordinator
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting & HR Coordinator to support both our finance and human resources operations. This role balances accounting responsibilities like payroll, AP/AR, and financial reporting with HR duties including onboarding, benefits administration, and personnel recordkeeping. The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities across both departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting:

Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, and journal entries accurately.

Maintain and update financial records and reports.

Assist with expense reports, credit card reconciliations, and payroll processing.

Support month-end closing and generate basic financial reports.

Respond to routine billing and payment inquiries.

Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and maintain confidentiality of financial data.
Human Resources:

Maintain confidential HR and employee information.

Support managers with timecard approvals and payroll submissions.

Assist with onboarding, orientation, and benefits enrollment programs.

Maintain employee personnel records and assist with filing/documentation.

Provide general administrative support to HR as needed.
Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, HR, Business, or related field preferred.

2+ years’ experience in office support, accounting, or HR preferred.

Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required; Word, Teams, and PowerPoint expected.

Experience with payroll, benefits, onboarding, and HR processes preferred.
