Job Full Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator at a meat plant in Dunmore.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling and disassembling all forming equipment and related equipment for the design of the product being produced
- Operating forming equipment (speed control, changing components and all technical adjustments).
- Ensure proper parts and components used for the design of products are ready for use.
- Ensure proper meat is ready and available for use.
- Ensure freezing tunnels are operating properly and maintain their use throughout production.
- Cross collaboration with packing and grinding personnel on status of machinery use, status changes and changeovers.
- Routinely monitoring raw product weights
- Learn all aspects associated with forming components, how they are used, their shapes and weights.
- Elevate all issues to production supervisors and managers that may negatively affect production.
- Assist in all other areas a manager or supervisor may require. i.e. packing room.
*Candidate must fit the following requirements;
-Must be mechanically inclined
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
-Ability to work on your feet for 8hrs
*Shifts is 2-11
