Now Hiring: Winder – $27.50/Hour – Full-Time – Canonsburg, PA
Express Employment Professionals is looking for dependable and detail-oriented Winders for a well-established company in Canonsburg, PA. This is an Evaluation-to-Hire, full-time opportunity with a competitive starting pay and the potential for a pay increase, benefit package, and a union position once hired permanently by the client!
Key Responsibilities

Setup, wind, and dismantle of coil setups, including managing mandrels and wire.

Make brazed connections, fabricate crossovers, and install cooling ducts.

Burn leads using an induction heater or oxygen/acetylene torch.
-
Perform removal, up-ending, and proper storage of completed coils.

Conduct hands-on mechanic work using various tools and equipment.

Record necessary data on cylinder, wire, and coil check sheets.

Adhere strictly to the company's attendance policy.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Skills and Qualifications Required

Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

Skilled in operating hand tools, air tools, and power tools.

Ability to perform minor maintenance to equipment as needed.

Must have good manual dexterity, be attentive to detail, and able to follow directions.

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 lbs frequently without assistance.

Must have specific vision abilities required by the job.

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to pass a mandatory math skill evaluation.
Schedule and Compensation
-
Schedule: Monday through Friday Swing Shifts.

Pay Rate: $27.50/hour (Starting wage, with an opportunity for pay increase upon hire by client).

Eligible for a benefit package and potential union position upon full-time hire.

Location: Canonsburg, PA (Note: Candidates must have reliable transportation).
