Express Employment Professionals is seeking motivated and mechanically inclined individuals for Coil Prep and Finisher positions with a reputable manufacturing company located in Canonsburg, PA. This is a full-time, evaluation-to-hire opportunity with the potential for a pay increase, full benefits, and union membership once hired on by the client.
Location: Canonsburg, PA
Pay Rate: $23.45 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Job Responsibilities
- Prep counter shields and assemble stick/tube components
- Pre-load spacers and assemble vertical wind outs
- Bend, burn, anneal, clean, and wrap electrical leads
- Remove coils from the winding machine and up-end them
- Perform hands-on mechanical work using various hand tools, air tools, and power tools
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics/drawings
- Follow company safety and attendance policies
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass a mandatory math skills evaluation
- Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 lbs without assistance
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and performing minor equipment maintenance
- Attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Specific vision abilities required (details provided during interview process)
