MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fabricate and assemble conveyor belts according to customer specifications
- Read and accurately complete shop orders and production instructions
- Use hand tools and measuring equipment, including tape measures, calipers, and scales
- Follow quality standards and production goals
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
- Assist with other manufacturing and production duties as needed
MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Previous machine operator, manufacturing, production, fabrication, or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read shop orders, production instructions, and working drawings
- Comfortable using hand tools and precision measuring tools
- Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and metric measurements
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and consistent work history
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
