Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Lab Driver to pick up and deliver gas samples while transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials. This position requires safe driving, flexibility for overnight travel, and attention to safety procedures.
Job Duties
- Pick up and deliver samples
- Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials using a company vehicle
- Safely operate and maintain a company-provided Ford F-150
- Follow assigned routes and schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work areas
- Clean and prepare sample cylinders for reuse
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Lift and handle items up to 50 lbs
Routes & Travel
- Eastern Pennsylvania Route: Approx. 8 hours; overnight stay required
- Per diem provided for hotel and food
- Eastern Ohio Route: Approx. 8 hours round trip (same day)
- North/South Route: Once per month
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
- Ability to drive a company vehicle
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working around natural gas
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Part-time position
- Per diem provided for overnight routes
- Company vehicle provided
