Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-established, family-owned company in Washington, PA to hire a Full-Time Field Service Technician. Job Description
Working alongside a team of experienced technicians, the Field Service Technician will provide on-site preventive maintenance, testing, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of stationary battery systems, industrial chargers, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and telecom power systems.
This role offers exposure to the latest battery and power technologies, with ongoing online, in-house, and vendor-sponsored training to help you grow into an expert in the field.
Responsibilities
- Complete and submit detailed field service reports capturing time and work performed
- Perform diagnostic analysis, repairs, and preventive maintenance at customer sites
- Install stationary battery systems, UPS, and telecom power systems
- Troubleshoot and repair battery chargers and UPS systems
- Perform field wiring of batteries, chargers, and UPS units
- Conduct mechanical assembly in the field
- Use multimeters and test equipment to measure and record voltage, resistance, current, and specific gravity
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- Understanding of basic electrical theory and circuit analysis
- Associate’s degree from a technical/trade school OR 3+ years of technician experience
