Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and dependable Weekend Maintenance Technician to support operations at a food manufacturing facility in the Charleroi/Bentleyville area. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Schedule Options (Candidate Choice):
- Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
OR
- Friday: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM, Saturday & Sunday: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Pay Rate:
$24.75 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues as they arise
- Assist with repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
- Follow all food safety, quality, and OSHA safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
Requirements:
- Previous maintenance or industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work weekends and chosen schedule consistently
- Must be able to pass an interview with the Maintenance Manager prior to start
Interview Requirement:
Candidates will be required to interview with the Maintenance Manager to ensure alignment of skills and experience.
