Sanitation Worker
Express Employment Professionals is hiring dependable Sanitation Workers to join a growing team in a food manufacturing environment. If you're hardworking, safety-minded, and don't mind physical work, we'd love to hear from you!
Pay:
- 1st Shift: $15.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: $16.50/hour
- 3rd Shift: $18.50/hour
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize food processing equipment and production areas.
- Use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment safely and effectively.
- Lift and move hoses, equipment, and chemical containers weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Work around large processing machinery while following strict safety procedures.
- Maintain sanitation standards that meet FDA and quality control requirements.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (gloves, face shield, apron, boots, etc.).
- Work as part of a team to complete cleaning tasks efficiently during scheduled downtime.
Work Environment
- Wet and humid conditions.
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
- Physically demanding work involving standing, bending, crouching, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals while wearing protective equipment.
- Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
