Contract Marine Quality Technician
Location: Bentleyville, PA
Pay: $40-$45/hour

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Marine Quality Technician for a contract opportunity with a leading manufacturing company in Bentleyville, PA.
This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with manufacturing inspection experience who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and ensuring products meet strict customer and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming inspections of materials, components, and assemblies
- Review supplier certifications, inspection reports, and quality documentation
- Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision tools
- Document nonconformances and maintain accurate inspection records
- Utilize SAP or similar quality management systems
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements
- Support Quality, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams
- Assist with calibration activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety, quality, and QMS procedures
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or quality assurance
- Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Strong knowledge of inspection tools and measurement equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- High School Diploma/GED required; technical training preferred
Preferred Experience:
- Marine, naval, defense, or heavy industrial manufacturing experience
- Experience with FARO, Romer, or Keyence inspection systems
- Knowledge of NDE methods (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT/X-Ray)
- SAP or ERP/QMS system experience
- Overhead crane and rigging experience
