About the Role:
An established business in Plymouth, PA is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Payroll & Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who works well independently and has hands-on experience with payroll processing, Excel formulas, and basic accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly/biweekly payroll using payroll software
- Prepare, track, and reconcile employee expense reports
- Assist with tax-related tasks and basic filing requirements
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Use Excel (including formulas) to organize, track, and analyze data
- Communicate with staff to ensure timely submission of payroll and expense information
- Support general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Experience working with payroll programs (required)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially with formulas
- Prior experience in payroll, taxes, or expense reporting
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
