About the Role:

An established business in Plymouth, PA is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Payroll & Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who works well independently and has hands-on experience with payroll processing, Excel formulas, and basic accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly/biweekly payroll using payroll software
  • Prepare, track, and reconcile employee expense reports
  • Assist with tax-related tasks and basic filing requirements
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Use Excel (including formulas) to organize, track, and analyze data
  • Communicate with staff to ensure timely submission of payroll and expense information
  • Support general accounting and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience working with payroll programs (required)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially with formulas
  • Prior experience in payroll, taxes, or expense reporting
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
