Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our team in Nanticoke. This role involves approximately 70% forklift operation and 30% general warehouse duties, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and move products within the warehouse and onto trucks.
- Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, and organizing stock.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.
- Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of forklift operation in a warehouse setting.
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
