Overview

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support production, shipping, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires the safe and efficient operation of both sit-down forklifts and clamp forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and large paper product rolls throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts and clamp forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials.
• Handle large rolls of paper or similar materials using clamp attachments safely and accurately.
• Supply production lines with materials and remove finished goods from machines.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper product placement and stability.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement logs and follow all warehouse documentation procedures.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and organized within warehouse and production areas.
• Follow all facility safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE guidelines.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Experience operating both sit-down and clamp forklifts is required.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maneuver large materials carefully.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production timelines.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
