Job Details

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to support daily operations in a piling and heavy materials environment. This role is responsible for moving, loading, unloading, and organizing steel and related materials to ensure an efficient and safe production flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and stage steel piling and other materials throughout the facility
• Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cranes, hoists, or pallet jacks (as trained)
• Assist machine operators and production staff by supplying materials as needed
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, accuracy, and quality
• Maintain organized inventory and properly label and store materials
• Prepare materials for cutting, fabrication, or shipping
• Follow production schedules and work instructions
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
• Comply with all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and internal procedures
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding material needs or issues

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial setting preferred
• Forklift experience
• Ability to read basic work orders and measurements
• Strong attention to safety and detail

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, with heavier materials moved using equipment
• Ability to work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
