Overview

We are seeking an experienced Flexo Press Operator to run, maintain, and troubleshoot flexographic printing equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is essential to ensuring high-quality print output, efficient production flow, and consistent machine performance. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor flexographic (flexo) printing presses to meet production requirements and quality specifications.
• Adjust ink levels, plate cylinders, tension, registration, and machine settings for optimal print quality.
• Perform regular quality inspections on printed materials and make adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot print or mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance when necessary.
• Maintain accurate production logs and documentation.
• Clean and maintain printing plates, anilox rollers, ink systems, and press components.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with production staff to meet deadlines, improve processes, and minimize waste.
• Assist in training new team members on press operation and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a flexographic or similar printing press required.
• Strong mechanical ability and familiarity with industrial machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Basic math and measurement-reading skills (tape measure, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot print defects.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime as production demands.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
