Snow Laborer (Seasonal/On-Call)
Location: NEPA Area
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Job Summary
A local snow and ice management company is seeking dependable Snow Laborers to assist with snow removal operations throughout the Pittston area. This is an on-call, weather-dependent position responsible for clearing snow from sidewalks, walkways, parking lots, entrances, and other designated areas to help maintain safe conditions during winter weather events.
Responsibilities
- Shovel and remove snow from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and parking lots.
- Apply salt, ice melt, and other de-icing materials as directed.
- Maintain safe and accessible pathways for pedestrians and vehicles.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate winter weather gear.
- Work outdoors in cold temperatures, snow, and other winter conditions.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding work assignments and site conditions.
- Perform other snow removal duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation to and from designated work sites. (Not bus route friendly)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and early mornings during snow events.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
Work Environment
- Work is performed outdoors in varying winter weather conditions.
- This position is weather-dependent; hours are available only during snow and ice events.
- Shift lengths may vary based on weather conditions and operational needs.
Compensation
- $25.00 per hour
- Seasonal, on-call opportunity with the potential for recurring winter work.
