Company Description:

A local municipal truck center in the Piedmont area is looking for a full time mechanical technician to assemble and weld equipment on commercial trucks. 

Job Description:

• Must have mechanical background with welding experience
• Ability to learn how to mount bodies on trucks
• Must be able to communicate effectively with engineering department.
• Be capable of working with minimal supervision and instructions.  
• Maintain a clean and safe working area, and perform regularly scheduled maintenance on the equipment and alerting the maintenance department with potential mechanical problems.  
• Work in teams and be required to assist other departments as needed.  
• Encouraged to provide suggestions to management on quality and safety improvements regarding the work environment and the product.

Pay: 

• $21 per hour 

 

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 7am- 4pm
