🪚 NOW HIRING: A Shift Saw Operator
📍 Pelzer, SC
💲 $19.00 per hour
🕒 Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable A Shift Saw Operator for a growing manufacturing facility in Pelzer, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or fabrication experience who enjoys working in a hands-on environment. Saw experience is a plus, but not required!
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate saw equipment to cut raw materials to required lengths and specifications.
- Assist laser operators with loading and unloading materials, sorting parts, slag removal, and staging completed jobs.
- Support press brake operations by staging materials, organizing tooling, and handling finished parts.
- Perform mechanical assembly, hardware installation, packaging, labeling, and shipment preparation.
- Move raw materials and finished products using carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.
- Read work instructions, blueprints, job travelers, and tape measures.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support multiple departments as production needs change.
Qualifications:
- Saw experience is a plus!
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Schedule:
🗓️ Monday – Thursday
⏰ 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay:
💲$17.00- $19.00 per hour
Requirements:
- Drug screen required.
- Steel toe boots required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while following all safety and quality standards.
