Working for a thriving manufacturer in the Anderson area. The company specializing in design and manufacturing of furniture solutions for healthcare environments.

Job Description:

  • Ensure that all orders are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Direct the definition of production objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, engaging sales and engineering.
  • Purchase raw materials, ensuring component resource availability and allocation (raw material, components, and Kan Ban items), in conjunction with SPM.
  • Learn and operate the MRP Easy program.
  • Execute programming and maintain software functionality of machinery.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques (Monday/MRP Easy).
  • Measure assembly/shipping performance using appropriate tools and techniques (Monday).
  • Report to CEO/CFO as needed for situational awareness.
  • Oversee HR compliance with all persons on the floor.
  • Adhere to OSHA and ISO compliance in coordination with QCS, SPM, and OEM.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Coordinate with the CEO and maintain comprehensive production KPIs; review results with production team.
  • Set expectations every morning, manage, and participate with production teams.
  • Establish goals; monitor and post results in conjunction with QCS.
  • Meet with clients, in person if required, produce detailed briefs, and clarify specific requirements of each project/installation.
  • Delegate production tasks based on staff members' strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
  • Meet budgetary and TAKT time objectives; make adjustments to production constraints.
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills; lead by example.
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.
  • Assist the SPM in the client quotation process.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing.
  • Achieve margin targets through tight cost control.
  • Maintain high quality of production and low warranty claims.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

MUST HAVES:

5+ years experience in manufacturing leadership

High end cabinetry, wood panel processing or, larger scale closet design and installation.
