Express Employment Professionals is hiring 2nd Shift Assembly Associates for a growing manufacturing company in Anderson, SC. We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals with assembly experience who enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.
Schedule:
🗓️ Monday – Thursday: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
🗓️ Friday: 2:30 PM – 7:30 AM (as needed)
Pay:
💲 $15.00- $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Assemble products accurately while following specifications and work instructions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and product specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and other assembly equipment.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications and tolerances.
- Operate a forklift to move and transport materials.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or product defects.
- Work independently and as part of a team to improve production processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of general assembly experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must live within a 50-mile radius of Anderson, SC.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts.
- Basic math and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and climb throughout the shift.
- Ability to work around moving machinery, dust, vibration, and varying environmental conditions.
Requirements:
- Drug screen required.
- Steel toe boots required.
- Must follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company safety procedures.
