Customer Service Representative
Location: North Charleston, SC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: Around $20/hour
A growing North Charleston-based company specializing in high-end home décor and tabletop goods is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. Known for their beautifully crafted, European-inspired products, the company operates both direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, a passion for quality service, and the ability to learn order management tools like QuickBooks and Shopify.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges in an accurate and timely manner
- Provide detailed product information and support to both retail and wholesale clients
- Maintain customer account records and update order status in company systems
- Coordinate with warehouse and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
- Learn and effectively use QuickBooks and Shopify platforms for order entry and tracking
Requirements:
- Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred
- Familiarity with—or a willingness to quickly learn—QuickBooks and Shopify
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
