Job Full Description
Charleston Scrap metal has an immediate opening Diesel Mechanic Helper. The Diesel Helper assists in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of diesel engines and related components.
This role supports diesel mechanics by performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The Diesel Helper works under the supervision of experienced mechanics to learn and develop skills in diesel engine repair and maintenance. Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines, trucks, and related equipment. Support the team with any other tasks assigned by the lead mechanic or supervisor. Some lifting, bending, and physical labor may be required.
First shift 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Full time. Starts at 18.00 Hour. Must Pass a drug test. No background check needed. Must wear steel toes.
