Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineer
Location: Saint Stephens
Employment Type: Full-Time, Regular, Day Shift
Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000
Travel Requirement: Approximately 50% (global travel)

 

Position Summary

The Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineer is part of a global engineering team supporting the technical needs of manufacturing sites across the organization. Responsibilities include the design, installation, and optimization of electromechanical systems. This role also supports equipment upgrades, relocations, and troubleshooting activities, while coordinating with both internal and external engineering and construction teams.

This position combines electrical, mechanical, and software engineering disciplines with strong project management skills. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach to problem-solving and an eagerness to travel to global manufacturing sites to provide on-site technical support.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement electromechanical systems integrating electrical, mechanical, and software components.
  • Lead and manage equipment upgrades, relocations, and conversions across global sites.
  • Assist maintenance teams with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee new construction and machine rebuild projects.
  • Manage external contractors and engineering partners to ensure compliance and timely project completion.
  • Ensure safety compliance and enforce procedures for internal teams and external resources.
  • Conduct system analysis and validation to ensure reliable performance.
  • Apply the latest industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve system efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership and ensure adherence to international engineering standards and regulations.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Strong background in electromechanical system design and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and 2D/3D design tools.
  • Experience with HMI/PLC software development.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Safety-conscious and quality-driven.
